on January 21st, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, responded to social media controversy over changes in the leadership of the Ethereum Foundation (EF) in a tweet. He made it clear that he personally holds decision-making power over the current new leadership team of EF and that the ongoing reforms aim to introduce a formal board of directors for the foundation, but until then, the decision-making power remains with him personally.
Vitalik criticized the pressure on social media, stating that it disrupts the working environment of excellent developers and makes EF management more difficult. He pointed out that this behavior not only does not contribute to achieving the goal, but also reduces his interest in catering to these demands.
In addition, he defended Aya Miyaguchi against accusations, pointing out that there were translation biases in the relevant quotes and criticizing attacks against her as "pure malice".
