According to cryptoslam.io, sales of digital collectibles during the first month of 2025 were significantly lower than in December 2024.

Total sales amounted to $677,73 million across 5 transactions NFT . Was in the lead Ethereum with sales of $340,47 million, while sales NFT in the Bitcoin blockchain took second place with $111,75 million. Sales of digital collectibles on the Bitcoin network fell by 40,90% compared to December figures.

In January Solana came in third place, recording sales of $81,56 million, which reflected a decrease of 26,65%. Among the top ten blockchains, only one recorded an increase in total sales compared to the last month of 2024. Base’s figures increased by 293,19% to $22,76 million.

Top 5 Largest Collections NFT in terms of sales volume in January 2025, non-fungible Azuki tokens accounted for Ethereum with $57,05 million, followed by Pudgy Penguins at Ethereum with $43,09 million, Dmarket from Mythos ( Polkadot ) with $33,37 million, cryptopunks on Ethereum with $28,10 million and NFT Bitcoin-based BRC20 brings up the rear with $25,80 million.

Of the top five collections, Azuki showed the most positive sales results, showing a 41,92% increase and a 96,83% increase in transactions. The series also recorded the highest increase in buyers at 99,80% and sellers at 95,56%.

The most expensive NFT became Cryptopunk #6472 based on Ethereum , which sold for $740,180 11 days ago.

Rounding out the list is Abstract Beings By Memphis #520, released on the Bitcoin blockchain, which changed hands 23 days ago for $222,680.
